Based in Fife and serving clients across Edinburgh, the Lothians, and Central Scotland, The A-List Beauty offers professional hair and makeup services for weddings, events, and editorial work.
Founded by Ashleigh Stewart — Scottish-born, Canada-raised artist, educator, and beauty writer — The A-List Beauty brings international experience home to Scotland.
Ashleigh’s artistry was shaped at the renowned Blanche Macdonald Centre in Vancouver and through advanced training under world-renowned artists including James Vincent, Lauren D’Amelio, and Netta Szekely. Her career spans runway, editorial, and international events, with highlights such as serving as key artist at the Vancouver International Fashion Gala and managing teams for a National Geographic touring exhibition across Canada and the U.S.
What began in Canada as a pursuit of excellence has grown into a refined freelance brand. Today, Ashleigh offers a blend of global expertise and local understanding — crafting timeless bridal looks, polished event styling, and creative editorial artistry with professionalism and care.

When I first entered the beauty industry, I wasn’t chasing trends — I was chasing transformation. Not only the kind that shows up in the mirror, but the kind that shifts how someone feels within themselves.
The A-List Beauty was born from that belief: that artistry has the power to elevate, empower, and endure. What began as my personal journey — from Scotland to Vancouver, from student to educator, from makeup chair to managing large-scale events — has grown into something much more meaningful.
Now, returning home to Scotland, my vision is to bring global artistry with a local touch. For me, beauty is about more than flawless makeup — it’s about presence, professionalism, and creating moments of confidence that last far beyond the day itself.
This brand is rooted in accessible luxury: offering clients the experience of red-carpet quality paired with warmth, care, and individuality. Whether it’s a bride preparing for her wedding, a client stepping in front of the camera, or a student taking their first lesson, my goal is always the same — to craft beauty that feels iconic yet personal.
