About Our Founder
The A-List Beauty was founded by Ashleigh Stewart, a professional hair and makeup artist, lash and brow technician, beauty educator, and beauty writer, originally from Scotland UK, but based in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Ashleigh's passion for makeup and beauty has been a lifelong pursuit, further enhanced by her formal education from esteemed institutions such as the Blanche MacDonald Centre, and celebrity makeup artists such as James Vincent, Lauren D'Amelio and Netta Szekely. This dedication, and her commitment to excellence inspired her to establish The A-List Beauty brand and product line. In her role as the lead hair and makeup artist and educator at The A-List Beauty, Ashleigh actively contributes to the beauty community as a regular guest speaker and instructor at the Blanche MacDonald Centre. Her noteworthy career highlights include the position of key makeup artist at the Vancouver International Fashion Gala, as well as collaborations with the Miss Global Pageant Organization, Paquin Entertainment Group, and National Geographic, where she served as the artist manager for a team of makeup artists during a touring exhibition which took her from Canada into the United States.
Together with her talented team, Ashleigh offers both in-studio and mobile beauty services throughout the lower mainland of Vancouver and its surrounding areas, as well as throughout Scotland UK, moving into 2025 and 2026. She is committed to delivering excellence in her services, education, and in The A-List Beauty's luxury lashes, cosmetics, and tools.
